Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to announce that release 1.0.2 has been installed at
ftp.u.washington.edu in public/virtual-worlds. This version has the
following fixes:
* Fixed the client/server library linkage problems.
* Added support for Solaris and Ultrix
* Compiled it under a STRICT ANSI compiler - the one I had been using
knew about ANSI, but didn't enforce it - when I thought it did! :-(
Here's a list of enhancements:
* Added a -m option to the client to allow selection between wireframe,
hidden line and surface shading. Wireframe giving a faster frame rate.
* Added support for dynamic selection of rendering mode: keypad '/' for
wireframe, keypad '*' for surface shade.
I hope people have a bit more success with this version! Please read
the README file to get more detailed information about the build
process.
Thanks,
Robert
