  11. I'm pleased to announce that release 1.0.2 has been installed at
  12. ftp.u.washington.edu in public/virtual-worlds. This version has the
  13. following fixes:

  15. * Fixed the client/server library linkage problems.
  16.  
  17. * Added support for Solaris and Ultrix
  18.  
  19. * Compiled it under a STRICT ANSI compiler - the one I had been using
  20.   knew about ANSI, but didn't enforce it - when I thought it did! :-(

  22. Here's a list of enhancements:

  24. * Added a -m option to the client to allow selection between wireframe,
  25.   hidden line and surface shading. Wireframe giving a faster frame rate.
  26.  
  27. * Added support for dynamic selection of rendering mode: keypad '/' for
  28.   wireframe, keypad '*' for surface shade.
  29.  
  30. I hope people have a bit more success with this version! Please read
  31. the README file to get more detailed information about the build
  32. process.
